Renewable project

Treasury Wines in the Barossa Valley seized the opportunity to support their customers with charging stations for electric vehicles. As a step to reduce carbon emissions, the winery decided to provide power via solar panels.

Steelwork Bendigo supplied the structural steel and installation of a large, sheltered car park that houses solar roofs generating 5000-megawatt hours per annum.

“We’ve put the panels on rooftops and in the car parks to keep energy accessible for electronic vehicles as we move forward,” says Kerrin Petty of Treasury Wines.
