Largest regional infrastructure development in Victorian history
The $630M redevelopment of the Bendigo Hospital was Victoria’s largest regional infrastructure project in history: the project combined hospital redevelopment, a multi-level car park and a helipad.
Steelwork Bendigo supplied the substantial steel structure for the car park and helipad along with secondary steel and metalwork, including balustrades, handrails, screens, crash rails and bollards.
The project’s size and importance meant the contract included substantial fines for delays. Steelwork Bendigo completed our commitment within the tight scheduling program without penalty.
